Saint Raphael Parish School of Religion

Grades 1-8

Saint Raphael Parish School of Religion (PSR) is a Catholic Religious Education Program.  It is staffed by a Director, thirty-seven catechists and numerous parent volunteers.  The comprehensive program offers thirty classes on Monday afternoons and evenings. Our Religious Education year covers the months of September through May. Also included throughout the year are a Spiritual Olympics program, prayer services, Stations of the Cross, May Crowning and an all-school Mass.  Sessions for Grades 1 through 8 are offered each Monday on a choice of times:4:15-5:30 p.m. or 6:30 -7:45 p.m. Registration is available online via the parish website. Please note that the 6:30-7:45 classes are labeled "Evening" when registering online. 


Our PSR, Preschool and Home School religious education programs combined serve more than 750 students from 450 parish families. We serve families from many communities including but not limited to:

  • North Olmstead
  • Lakewood
  • Cleveland

Who is Open to Enroll?

Saint Raphael Parish School of Religion is open to all Catholic students, age three through Grade 8.   A copy of a baptismal certificate is required for enrollment.  If your child is not baptized, and you would like Baptism preparation information for children older than infants, OR, if you have any PSR registration questions, please contact our Director of Religious Education, Terri Telepak in the Parish Office at 440-871-1100, ext. 7748 or

Tuition and Fees

PSR (Grades 1-8): $125 per child for active Saint Raphael Parishioners.

The out-of-parish fee for families who are not members of Saint Raphael Parish is $175 per child.

**No child will ever be denied a Catholic Religious Education due to financial difficulty.**

  The PSR fee helps to cover the cost of textbooks, classroom materials, supplies and activities.
