Our Partner Parish

On January 7, 2025, Bishop Edward Malesic appointed Fr. Dan as Presbyteral Moderator of St Aloysius-St Agatha Parish in Cleveland.  (Read the full Letter of Appointment)

Fr. Dan recalls: While speaking with the Bishop Malesic, I brought to mind the partnership prompted by Bishop Pilla’s “Church in the City” pastoral letter years ago that brought together other suburban and city churches.

These partnerships can flourish and are mutually beneficial to both parishes.  With the shortage of clergy and the hope to maintain a Catholic presence in the inner city, the Bishop hopes that more partnerships like St. Raphael and St. Aloysius-St Agatha will deepen the faith and experiences of parishes throughout the Diocese of Cleveland.
